New Look for VSP!!

Since 1985, the Visiting Scientist Program has provided a forum for pharmaceutical scientists to visit colleges and share knowledge, experiences, and ideas with students. The program benefits participants in academia and industry by encouraging students to pursue research and career opportunities in the pharmaceutical sciences.

Now VSP has been revamped to better assist schools and AAPS Student Chapters in identifying scientific speakers. Redesigned into a more flexible Speakers Bureau, the program will address student needs on a timelier basis. Instead of waiting for the biannual matching process, schools will be able to request speakers whenever they determine a need.

Students can benefit tremendously from the perspective, advice, and practical experiences of pharmaceutical scientists, while the scientists benefit from their service to the college and learning about the school's current academic research. Please volunteer your time and expertise to help guide future pharmaceutical scientists!
