Metro Toronto Convention Centre
255 Front Street West,
Toronto, Ontario M5V 2W6
Canada
All 2008 National Biotechnology Conference events will be held in the South Tower of the Metro Toronto Convention Centre.
The word Toronto was derived from the Huron Indian term for place of meeting. Since the opening of the Metro Toronto Convention Centre in 1984, it has been a place of meeting for individuals and organizations from around the world. Connected to both the North and South buildings of the MTCC is the PATH. The PATH is the world's largest underground shopping complex, as recognized by Guinness World Records, with more than 1,200 shops and services. The PATH connects you to the heart of vibrant downtown Toronto, a thriving multicultural mosaic. If you prefer to enjoy the fresh air, you are also within walking distance of the waterfront and the city's business, financial, fashion and cultural districts are minutes from the convention center doorstep.
