Register Early!
Register promptly to take advantage of the early-bird discounts! For registration to be processed, the appropriate registration fee must be received with your registration form. Registration forms received without payment will be considered received on the date the payment arrives.
Become an AAPS member to receive an even greater discount on registration fees. If you are a graduate student or postdoctoral fellow, you must be an AAPS student member to qualify for the discounted student registration fee.
Registration badge and event tickets will be mailed to registrants from the United States and Canada whose registrations are received by May 16, 2008. If you are not able to send your registration form to arrive by June 8, 2008, plan to register on-site. A registration confirmation will be sent by fax or email to all who register by May 30, 2008.

Advanced registration is required to guarantee participation in a Short Course. For Short Courses 2, 3 and 4, enrollment is limited to 85 participants and processed on a first-come, first-served basis. Short Course 1 is limited to 40 participants. A minimum of 50 registrants is required. AAPS reserves the right to cancel the course if minimum enrollment is not reached by May 23, 2008.
AAPS student members may apply for a reduced $50 registration fee for these Short Courses. Five applicants will be selected for the Short Courses on a first-come, first-served basis. To qualify you must mail or fax the application so that it will be received by May 11, 2008.

Save Money - Group Registrations are Available!
Take advantage of this opportunity to register you and your colleagues for this meeting and save hundreds of dollars! Group registration discounts will be applied as follows:
- three fully paid registrations qualify for one additional complimentary registration, or
- five or more fully paid registrations qualify for two additional complimentary registrations.
Registration must be in groups of three or more paid registrants, from the same organization, and cannot be combined with any additional offer. Group registrations are not valid after May 23, 2008 and are available through online registration only. All registrations must be made at the same time to qualify.

Spouse/Guest
Spouse/guest registration is available for $35. If you plan to bring your spouse or an adult guest, complete the appropriate information on the Registration Form and add the additional registration fee to your remittance. Spouse/guest registration includes admission to the Plenary Session, Contributed Papers Reception, and the AAPS Exposition. This registration is intended for use by non-scientists and does not allow access into any of the lecture sessions, nor are spouse/guest registrations eligible for CE credits.
Continuing Education (CE) Credits
The University of Wisconsin is an approved provider of continuing pharmaceutical education. For attendance at each of the following sessions, AAPS will offer continuing education credits.

CE fees must be paid at the time of registration or on-site; CE credits will not be available after the meeting has occurred. Exhibitor booth personnel are eligible for CE credits. CE fees apply to all registrants except Spouse/Guest and Exposition Only, which are not eligible.
International Registrants
For visa application invitation letters, use the Visa Request button provided at www.aapspharmacuetica.com/nationalbiotech and include your name, address and the specific information that you require in the letter. Deadline for requests is May 23, 2008. If you require express delivery by FedEx, DHL or another delivery service, include your account number or credit card information for express delivery payment. Otherwise, allow at least three weeks for postal delivery.
If paying registration fee by bank wire transfer, email registration@aaps.org for instructions. Registrations will not be processed until payment is received; the appropriate fees will be charged at the time payment is received.

Lost Badges and Expocards
AAPS charges $25 on-site to replace any lost badge and/or Expocard. This charge is necessary since AAPS is charged for each badge and Expocard printed.
Exposition Only
You may register on-site only to view the commercial exhibits in the exhibit hall during scheduled exhibit hours on Monday or Tuesday for $100 per person, per day. Advanced registration will not be accepted. This registration fee does not include admittance to any scientific sessions, the Plenary Session or receptions.
Cancellations/Refunds/Substitutions
2008 AAPS National Biotechnology Conference
All requests for refunds must be submitted in writing and emailed to registration@aaps.org or faxed to (703) 243-5582. Registration refunds will be issued for all requests received by May 30, 2008, less an administrative fee ($100 for members and non-members/$30 for student registrants). Registrant substitutions from the same company may be submitted in writing at any time without penalty. If the membership status of the substitute differs from that of the original registrant, a refund or additional charge may apply. All refunds will be issued by July 25, 2008.
Group Registration
Groups of three paid registrants or five paid registrants must be maintained in order to qualify for the appropriate number of complimentary registrations. Cancellation of one person from a group of three paid registrants will cancel the complimentary rate for the fourth registrant whose registration fee will be adjusted according to membership status and time of original registration. Cancellation of one person from a minimum of five paid group registrations will cancel the complimentary rate for the seventh registrant whose registration fees will be adjusted according to membership status and time of the original registration. Substitutions are allowed at any time with the registration rate to be adjusted according to membership status of the person who is the replacement registrant. Previously submitted registrations cannot be combined in order to meet minimum group requirements. Group registration cancellations received by May 30, 2008 will be issued less an administrative fee ($100 for members and non-members/$30 for student registrants) per person. All refunds will be issued by July 25, 2008.
AAPS Short Courses
All Short Course registration cancellations received by May 30, 2008 will be issued less a $100 administrative fee. No refunds will be issued for Short Course registration cancellations received after May 30, 2008. Registrant substitutions submitted in writing are accepted at any time without penalty. If the membership status of the substitute differs from that of the original registrant, a refund or additional charge may apply. All refunds will be issued by July 25, 2008.
