Welcome
It is my pleasure to announce that the 2008 AAPS National Biotechnology Conference will be taking place June 22-25, 2008 at the Metro Toronto Convention Centre in Toronto, Ontario Canada. Attendees will have access to one full week of educational programming during this annual event devoted to advancing health through innovations in biotherapeutics.
The week begins with a repeat of the very popular two-day AAPS Training Course: Development and Validation of Quantitative Ligand Binding Assays; if you didn’t have a chance to attend this Training Course last year, sign up quickly since we anticipate it to be as popular this year. Also, two separate Open Forums will be conducted. The week proceeds through the full 2008 AAPS National Biotechnology Conference programming, then, concludes with four short courses.
The 2008 programming consists of a Plenary Session, Symposia, Roundtables, Posters, and Hot Topics. This conference will also feature a fully operational, and complimentary, Career Center, which will include job postings, a resume database, and interview facilities. Additionally, a full Exposition Hall will be hosting major companies.
If you have any questions about the program or registration procedures, please contact the AAPS office at 703-243-2800, or, you can send an email to meetings@aaps.org. The 2008 AAPS National Biotechnology Conference is designed to provide a complete educational event allowing each and every attendee the ability to customize their experience with the goal of advancing health through innovations in biotherapeutics. See you in Toronto!
Sincerely,
