  Exhibitors Ask About Exhibit Design

What is a linear booth? And what are the height restrictions?
Linear booths are generally booths that are 10’ deep that have only one side open to the aisle. Some linear booths may have two sides open if the booth is located on a corner.

Display materials in linear booths cannot exceed 8’3” (2.5 m) in height. Perimeter booths located on the outer-perimeter wall of the exhibit hall can have displays reaching 12’ (3.66m) high. For both types of booths, display fixtures over 4’ in height must be placed no more than 5’ out from the backwall of the booth.

What is an island booth? And what are the height restrictions?
Island booths have all four sides of the booth open to the aisles. Examples include a 20’ X 20’ or 40’ X 40’ booth.

Island display fixtures can extend up to 16’ (4.88m). Island displays can also fill the entire square footage purchased. Check the service manual for specific display regulations if you plan to have a multi-story booth.

I have a 10’ X 40’ booth. Can I have a sign hanging from the ceiling?
No, ceiling hung signs are permitted only for island displays.
