The Process Analytical Technology (PAT) framework encourages implementation of continuous real time quality assurance. Process monitoring and control strategies are intended to monitor the state of the process and actively manipulate it to maintain a desired state (feed back or feed forward control). It is the objective of this symposium to discuss case studies about applying PAT techniques for real time control of process variables to maintain identified product attributes at the desired state. Examples of PAT applied processes which have been part of submissions will be illustrated.
