Tour 1: Photo Tour of San Diego
9:30 am – 1:30 pm
$85.00 – Includes Transportation, Admission to the Cabrillo Monument, Box Lunch and Professional Photographer and Guide
Grab your camera and get ready for spectacular photo opportunities. A local professional photographer will guide you to the best photo spots in San Diego. The photographer will give attendees on-the-spot photo tips and reveal the secrets to better travel photographs. Highlights of the tour include the Coronado Ferry Landing overlooking the San Diego Bay, the Cabrillo National Monument, the perfect spot for a classic postcard view of San Diego and Balboa Park, featuring more museums, architecture, flora and fauna than any other city park in the world. Whether you are a novice or a shutterbug, you’ll have fun and come back with great pictures.

Tour 2: San Diego by Land & Sea

Introduce yourself to San Diego, the “City with Sol” on this excursion. You’ll ride through the Historic Gaslamp District en route to a one-hour harbor excursion on the San Diego Bay, considered one of the finest natural harbors on the Pacific Coast, and home of the U.S. Naval First Fleet. Attendees will also be driven along the Embarcadero and on past the ferry boat Berkeley and majestic Star of India to Seaport Village and the San Diego Convention Center. Also included is the beautiful Balboa Park and Old Town State Historic Park, where San Diego was born.
Tour 3: VIP Zoo Venture
1:30 pm – 5:30 pm

Enjoy a private Behind-the-Scenes tour, an extraordinary way to see the San Diego Zoo! Beautiful La Jolla … Southern California’s “Jewel” by the Sea, boasts rocky cliffs, sandy coves and brilliant flowers. The first stop is the Birch Aquarium at Scripps where you will experience the frontiers of marine science through interactive museum exhibits. Then it’s on to the beaches of La Jolla where a Scripps Naturalist will guide you on a leisurely stroll along the shoreline and discuss the elements of the sea, from the kelp forest off the San Diego Coast to the California Sea Lions sunning on the sand. Following the beach walk, explore the fine boutiques and eclectic shops of downtown La Jolla or dine on your own in one of the many local restaurants.

All tours, unless otherwise indicated, are based on 30 participants. DMI reserves the right to cancel any tours should the minimum number not be met. Tours are not cancelled and refunds are not given due to inclement weather. DMI acts only as an agent of suppliers when securing transportation, accommodations, and other services, and is not responsible for any delay, error or omission, loss or accident, faults or negligence of hotels, bus companies, airlines and other suppliers. Accordingly, participants agree to seek remedies directly with suppliers and not to hold DMI liable, in the absence of its negligence, for loss, injury, delay, or substitution of similar accommodations or services to the participants.
