Chapter Information
The University of Southern California Student
Chapter is highly involved in planning and organizing various
educational seminars and events. Currently, the chapters boast the
highly successful "Moving Targets," an annual meeting that attracts
multiple schools from all over Southern California. This event aims
to foster continuous professional and scientific interaction among
young scientists.
The USC chapter objectives are to increase student participation in the activities of AAPS at the local, regional and national levels; to increase student awareness of career opportunities in the pharmaceutical sciences and the latest advances and discoveries in the pharmaceutical sciences; to provide educational opportunities for students in the pharmaceutical sciences to learn about all aspects of drug development, professional advancement and leadership development; to foster participation in outreach activities that further the goals and objectives of AAPS.
