Chapter Information
The University of California, San Francisco (UCSF) is the only UC campus primarily devoted to research and education in health science fields. At UCSF there is a convergence of health professions in medicine, dentistry, nursing, pharmacy and graduate study. Unlike most schools, we do not have any undergraduate students. This provides a unique yet challenging environment for this AAPS student chapter. Although in the past our chapter has focused its efforts exclusively on graduate students in the pharmaceutical sciences, we are currently expanding and recruiting students enrolled in other related graduate programs and the School of Pharmacy. Current members of the AAPS Student Chapter at UCSF include graduate students in the programs of Pharmaceutical Sciences and Pharmacogenomics (PSPG), Pharmaceutical Chemistry, Chemistry and Chemical Biology, and Bioengineering, as well as professional students in the School of Pharmacy.
