Chapter Information

The AAPS-South Dakota State University Student Chapter was established in October 2005 with a primary objective of promoting student participation in AAPS activities and increasing student awareness of opportunities for professional advancement and leadership development.

Chapter members come from a variety of educational backgrounds, including pharmacy, biology and microbiology. Current chapter activities focus on increasing awareness of career opportunities in the pharmaceutical sciences. To help members prepare for their future careers the chapter plans to implement professional development workshops. Also, the chapter continues to promote awareness of AAPS as a professional and educational resource.
