Chapter Information
The University of Pittsburgh student chapter of the American Association for Pharmaceutical Scientists (AAPS) was established in July 2004. The purpose of this chapter is to enhance educational, research and employment opportunities in the pharmaceutical sciences. Specifically, our objectives are to increase student participation in AAPS activities and to provide educational opportunities regarding careers, drug development, and advances in the pharmaceutical sciences. Other objectives include providing opportunities for professional advancement and leadership development and to promote outreach activities that further the goals and objectives of AAPS and our student chapter.
