  AAPS-University of Minnesota Student Chapter

Chapter Information

The AAPS-University of Minnesota student chapter was established in February 2002 with the primary objective of promoting student participation in AAPS activities at the local, regional and national levels. However, it was soon realized that the chapter also provided a much-needed platform to facilitate interaction among graduate students. Since its inception the chapter has expanded to include postdoctoral staff members and students from outside of the School of Pharmacy, including biomedical engineering and experimental and clinical pharmacology. Current chapter activities focus on increasing awareness of career options in the pharmaceutical sciences. Regular chapter activities include coffee hour discussions and guest speakers on varied topics.
