Chapter Information
The student chapter at UCSD started in September 2006 with 20 members. We were pleased to have the support of Dr. Rob Jennings from Amylin Pharmaceuticals as our Faculty Advisor.
We are now about 30 members strong and actively pursuing our interest in the pharmaceutical sciences.

A number of AAPS members visited Genentech's oceanside 60-acre, 500,000-square-foot facility, which is used to manufacture Avastin, an anti-cancer drug approved for sale in 2004.
