  AAPS-University of Florida Student Chapter

Chapter Information

The AAPS-University of Florida (UF) Student Chapter was founded in 2002 thanks to the dedication and enthusiasm of its founding officers, and it has grown stronger each year. After holding its first meeting of the 2004-2005 academic year, the chapter was delighted to learn that its membership had almost doubled. Chapter members continue to spread awareness of AAPS and the student chapter to UF graduate students and post-docs, and they plan to concentrate on extending recruitment to students outside of the college of pharmacy. Already, the chapter’s members come from vast educational backgrounds, including pharmacy, mathematics and chemical engineering. The chapter also enjoys participating in national AAPS activities and appreciates the professional and academic development opportunities offered by AAPS.
